O MEU PERFILChamo-me António Rocha. Sou português. Nasci em Viseu em 17 de Setembro de 1938 e já tenho portanto uma idade avançada e uma vida longa. Tenho o curso de Direito, sou advogado e trabalho actualmente como técnico superior na Biblioteca Municipal de Viseu.Também frequentei o curso de cinema do Conservatório Nacional. O cinema é uma das minhas grandes paixões e daí eu ser cinéfilo militante e cineclubista. A leitura e a escrita são outras das minhas grandes paixões e por isso sou um leitor compulsivo e um escritor. Quanto à minha outra grande paixão, a paixão das viagens, é uma paixão relativamente tardia, pois só começou há três anos e meio. Mas é uma paixão igualmente avassaladora, pois em três anos e meio já fiz inúmeras viagens, já voei para todos os continentes e já visitei quase todo o mundo.
É de algumas dessas viagens que vos falo neste livro. Mais precisamente das viagens em que andei pelas terras longínquas do oriente. Espero que os leitores gostem de viajar comigo. Boa viagem.
MY PROFILEMy name is António Rocha. I am Portuguese. I was born in Viseu on seventeenth September 1938 and I have had a long life. I am lawyer and I work in the Public Library of Viseu. I have also studied in cinema studies at the National School of Film and I have activities included in film societies clubs. The cinema is one of my great passions. Reading and writing are my other great passions. My other great passion, the trips passion, began relatively late. But it is also a great passion. In four years I have been on many trips. I have flown to all the continents and I have visited the whole world. It is of some of these trips, the trips through the East, that I speak about in this book. I hope that my readers enjoy travelling with me. Have a good trip.
